My main task working with Kit Lender was to highlight and prioritize a few key issues in the main user flow architecture for this new and exciting business.

How can Kit Lender address revenue lost through broken design?

from business priorities to ux strategies

I assessed the main user flows of Kit Lender, how the information architecture led users down pathways with varying functionality. My reports for Kit Lender focused on how UX strategy could solve some of the drop off of users at points of frustration, confusion, or broken infrastructure, especially from poor communication, improper navigation, or malfunctioning tools.

Key product issues addressed

Rental scheduling was extremely limited and not user-friendly until a calendar for booking was implemented, allowing the user needed flexibility for a real-life ski vacation. Product filtering was also flagged as a main area of traffic with high usability issues.

communication is key

An important part of my UX strategy for Kit Lender was making sure the language was clear, simple, and effectively communicated the ease of trying this new type of business.

Areas of opportunity and problematic user flows were assessed and remade with smart and quick UX solutions for this Rent-the-Runway-esque ski shop. With a clear path forward, Kit Lender can only be an even more amazing service!
